A Master Carpenter, owner/operator Ed Lenehan has built homes in some of the finest subdivisions in the Salisbury Area such as, Nithsdale, Westbury Acres, Whetsone, Willow Creek, Deer Harbour, High Banks Estates, Rockawalkin Village and Kilburnie. All new home construction is warrantied for 1 year.

Ed Lenehan Construction is a specialists in "whole" house home improvements including additions such as kitchens, family rooms, garages, in-law apartments, etc. Licensed by the State of Maryland (MHLIC # 12912) for over 20 years, we have never had a complaint filed with the Home Improvement Commission.

Although a full set of archtectual drawings are required for new construction and suggested for "whole" house renovations, we can provide limited design services for basic additions, decks, etc.

Quality is the cornerstone of Ed's success with over 40 years of construction experience. A Master Carpenter, Ed began as a cabinetmaker at the age of 14 advancing into furniture making in his youth. As a member of the Carpenter's Union, Ed worked on the construction of the Pan Am Building, a part of the stunning skyline of New York City. He began his own business in 1966 in upstate New York and enjoyed much success as a General Contractor and Home Improvement Contractor.

He moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1980 and formed Eastern Shore Framing Contractors, the first company on the Shore specializing in residential and commercial framing. After 6 years of great success in the Salisbury and Ocean City areas, Ed decided to go back to his beginnings as a General Contractor and formed Ed Lenehan Construction Company.

Ed's greatest strength is his all around knowledge of size and structure and effects of weight bearing walls, etc. Over the years he has worked well assisting architects in this and many other areas.
